Dr Annette Kortlucke

One of our doctors in Mt Gravatt

Dr Annette Kortlucke is the principal of Reydon Street Medical Centre and has lived and worked in the Mt Gravatt area for thirty years. 

She graduated from University of Queensland in 1981. Dr. Kortlucke received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998, and has had additional training in women’s health, palliative care, mental health and many other aspects of general practice.

Dr. Kortlucke purchased the practice in 1985 and enjoys caring for patients from newborns to the elderly.

In her spare time she likes to keep fit and spend time with her two grandchildren.

Dr Paul Colbrook

Dr Paul Colbrook

Originally from England, Dr. Paul Colbrook qualified from his medical studies in 1987. Dr. Colbrook then undertook his postgraduate training in General Practice and was granted Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK.

Dr Colbrook has worked as a medical officer in PNG, a “flying doctor’ in the Northern Territory and a GP in North Queensland.

Now settled in Brisbane with his family, Dr. Colbrook’s  activities have included tutoring medical students at the University of Queensland and working for Queensland Health in the public hospital system.

Dr Paul Colbrook is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.  As well as enjoying all aspects of General Practice, Dr Colbrook is interested in the early detection and management of skin melanoma and other skin cancers and undertakes ongoing training to improve his knowledge and skills in this area. He performs skin examinations and excisions for skin cancers. 

Dr Colbrook also enjoys helping patients with:

• Acute illness
• Chronic conditions - such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension
• Men’s health
• Women’s health
• Children’s health
• Prevention such as skin lesion excisions and travel vaccinations

Dr Karen Shepherd

Doctor Karen Sheperd

Dr Karen Shepherd has worked as a General Practitioner in southeast Brisbane for over 20 years. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1991, she trained at the Mater Adult, Mothers’ and Children’s hospitals. She was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996.

Dr Shepherd enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has particular interests in women’s health, allergy & immunology, chronic illness and mental health.

Dr Shepherd is married and has two children at primary school. Outside of work, she loves to spend time travelling with her family, cooking, reading and catching up with friends and family.
