Did you know endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women? That is approximately 200 million women and girls worldwide.
The Worldwide Endo March is a campaign that aims to raise awareness of endometriosis. The campaign and events are run by volunteers who are passionate about creating change for women and girls with endometriosis by raising funds, increasing education and awareness.
Team Australia’s goal is to continue raising funds towards developing education programs and raising funds for endometriosis research. With an average diagnosis delay of 7-10 years, many young women and girls face a long and stressful journey from symptoms to diagnosis.
By educating and empowering women to help them understand the symptoms and being well equipped to ask the right questions of a doctor, that in the future young women will not face the significant delays in diagnosis and can better treat the disease.
There are many ways you can be involved throughout March to support endometriosis.
