NATIONAL SKIN CANCER ACTION WEEK starts 15 November 2020

Watch Lana’s video about being diagnosed with melanoma.

Most melanomas and other skin cancers can be prevented by the use of good sun protection. Every day of the year (winter and summer) we urge you to use the five forms of sun protection:

  • slip on sun-protective clothing
  • slop on SPF30 (SPF 50 is better) broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen
  • slap on a broad-brimmed hat
  • seek shade
  • slide on sunglasses.

Please share this post with them.

Reydon Street Medical Centre can help with your next skin cancer check up, or to do lesion checks if you are concerned about a skin lesion. If you have no COVID symptoms you can now Book on line with Dr Brittany Wakefield or Dr Paul Colbrook.
